World of spices and nuts

God fredag ♥

Besides a gold market and worn shipping boats, ‘the old part’ of Dubai, Deira, also contains small cluttered streets with all the home needs of junk and probably not quite as legitimate goods. But what I would tell and show you guys is the area of narrow streets where spices and nuts are sold in sackful (literally!)

I’m crazy about this place. I feel like buying all kinds of spices that I actually don’t know how to use? Though last time I only bought anise and dried chamomile flowers, so that I can make some good tea. I better round the place once again before I leave, and fill up my suitcase with delicious stuff.

It  really shows a place of the contrasts encountered here in Dubai – and well, it’s worth a visit ..

Happy Friday ♥
